About Me
Hi, I'm Shanda Williams.
Shanda Williams (she /her) has been a professional in the Insurance and Banking industry for almost 20 years. Shanda first came to Vermont in 2017 and is a native of Hartford, CT. Her interpersonal experience with people from all over the world has given her the expertise in interacting and connecting with people of diverse cultures and all socio- economic backgrounds. She is currently committed to the titles of Changemaker, Reparations Activist, Equity Strategist, and BIPOC Community Advocate. She is a facilitator of the BIPOC group for My Grandmother's Hands: Unraveling Racialized Trauma and the Visionary of the Money Matters: Financial Liberation and Wellness series, for which she was recently awarded 2023 "Innovator of the Year" by Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation. Her intent is to increase equity opportunities toward BIPOC homeownership while helping others to heal their financial trauma.
